  2. Announcements RACHEL’S FIRST FIVE: WEEK 15 MONDAY: (Act of Kindness for the Week) “Open door Week.” Open the door for people at your school and greet them with a smile and hello. This common courtesy may have an uncommon effect on the people you greet. TUESDAY (Quote of the Week) Life is 10% what you make it and 90% how you take it. Irving Berlin WEDNESDAY (Ethical question or scenarios) Have you ever made a joke about a disabled person, overweight person, or someone who was different? Did you ever stop to think who has the bigger problem? THURSDAY (Discuss the Topic) What does it mean to be a friend? FRIDAY (Just a Thought) Tornados, Hurricanes, Typhoons, but there has never been a storm that didn’t end.
