  4. Zöngétlen hangok után : Zöngés hangok után : -s kiejtése [ s ] ask  asks [ z ] playplays [z ] -s, -ss, -ch, -x, -sh után : watchwatches

  5. Időhatározók : • always, never, sometimes, rarely, often, usually (mindig az alany és az állítmány között, a segédige és a létige után) • every day, every week • once a week, twice a year, three times a day … • On Mondays, in the morning (mindig a kifejezés végén állnak)

  6. Használata: • rendszeresen ismétlődő cselekvésekre: I play football every day. 2. szokás kifejezésére : She washes her teeth in the evenings. 3. általánosításra, tények kifejezésére (pl.: szakkönyvek) : Water boils in 100 C°. 4. általában jellemző cselekvések kifejezésére : They live in Canada.

  7. 5. utasítások, útbaigazítások esetén Open your book at page 21. 6. menetrendek, órarendek esetében a jövő idő kifejezésére : The train leaves at 5 o’clock. 7. most (olyan igékkel, amelyeknek nem képezzük a folyamatos jelen idejű alakját): I am in love now.
