  1. EASA Aviation Medicals at FlyingMedicine™ Since the 1st of January 2021, the UK no longer is part of the European Air Safety Agency (EASA). For those pilots and cabin crew who are working for organisations that require European EASA certificates, we at FlyingMedicine™ are proud to announce that we've been appointed by via Transport Malta as designated aeromedical examiner in order to undertake these medical checks. The anxiety of trying to get an EASA medical certificate during this challenging time with restricted movements into and out of Europe means that aviators can now confidently book an appointment to see Dr. Ahmed at FlyingMedicine™ to swiftly get their medical examination and certificates. The EASA medical process means that as a designated medical examiner he is able to issue medical certificates for any one of the other EASA member countries. This means pilots with Irish i.e., IAA medical's or medical certificates from other national aviation authorities like Denmark, Spain, France or Germany etc. can utilise the services at FlyingMedicine™ to get their requisite medical certificates undertaken. The team at FlyingMedicine™ then securely sends all the paperwork to the National Aviation Authority in order to ensure that all the medical notes is kept together. FlyingMedicine™ has been busy over the last few weeks and has not encountered any issues with regard to this process and issuing EASA medicals. Therefore, aviators can be confident that they are getting a validated certificate.

  2. Organisations like Ryanair have recently restarted the recruitment process for cabin crew for a busy summer return to European flying. The team at FlyingMedicine™ have assisted these cabin crew by issuing them with issuing designated cabin crew attestations in order for them to be fully operational by the time they complete their cabin crew training. The process for booking an EASA medical is very straightforward with FlyingMedicine’s online booking service. Applicants choose their appointment, book their slots and get an immediate confirmation. Once the team receives the booking, all the appropriate forms are returned via email in order for the applicant to complete these safely at home. This then limits the amount of time they have waiting in the clinic. On entering the clinic, they have a temperature check, use hand sanitizer have a medical undertaken under EASA directives. The vast majority of individuals are issued with their certificates there and then. You will note that a number of our patients have left very complimentary feedback once they have utilised the service. We are therefore confident that if any aircrews specifically pilots and cabin crew require a medical check for not only the UK CAA, EASA, or even FAA purposes we have the ability to safely, swiftly, and securely undertake this process with little stress or fuss.
