  2. There are so many different ways of using a large serving tray. You can get as creative as you want and include it in your daily life as a bedside tray, bathroom tray, or entryway tray. But if you want to stick to its traditional purpose, i.e., serving food, then here are five ways you can use a serving tray to entertain guests.

  3. 1. Build a cupcake station: Kids' parties are fun and games until someone eats a cupcake they are allergic to. Let large serving trays save you from all the trouble. Set up a cupcake station, and separate the cupcakes into different trays. So vegan, non-vegan, nut-free and all other types of cupcakes are separated from one another. You can also use tags to identify the trays. 2. Make an assorted munchies tray: If you have a home office with frequent visitors, assemble a tray with jars of crackers, chips, and candies for the guests to munch on while they wait for you. You can also keep some latest magazines for casual browsing. This idea also works for receptions and conference rooms. 3. Have a mini bar in the library: Have a house guest who loves to read? To make their stay memorable, use a large tray to make a mini bar in the library. You can keep the bottles, ice buckets, glasses, a tong and some coasters on a large square wooden tray. You can also keep a leather footstool for added comfort. 4. Make a charcuterie board: Charcuterie boards are a sophisticated and compact snacking option that should be a staple at all parties. You can use a large rectangular wooden tray to lay out the cheese, crackers, dips, meats, jams and nuts. You can choose the ingredients for the board based on the wine you will serve. 5. Have a fun colour-themed snack tray: Hosting a movie night with your friends? As a part of the fun, have a colour-themed snack party, where your friends pick a colour and assemble a tray with snacks of that colour for everyone to share.
