The Interpretation of Body Language By Joyce
High Five(Give Me Five) • This gesture is currently most commonly employed to communicate mutual satisfaction between spectators and between participants alike, during a sporting event, or to extend congratulations from one person to another in any informal setting.
Cheek Kissing • Cheek kissing is a ritual or social gesture to indicate friend, perform greeting, to confer congratulations, to comfort someone or to show respect. It does not necessarily indicate sexual or romantic interest.
Thumbs Up • This gesture indicates praise or admiration. • In the workplace if your boss gives your proposal a thumbs-up, it means that your boss approved your proposal.
“V” gesture • We can see this gesture often when we are taking a foto or when we own the game. • Thus, I consider that this gesture can stand for happiness, energy or victory.
Hug • “Hug” is one of my favorite body language. I think it is the most common human side of love and affection. • Hugs may also be exchanged as a sign of support and comfort.
Bowing • It is a act of showing respect and most permanent in Asia culture. • If you bow to pressure to someone whishes, you agree to do what they want you to do.
The End • Thank you for listening my understanding of the body language.
