Introduction to Service through the Organizational Leadership Program

Students in this class will build a community by engaging in service opportunities to enrich and connect with each other. By actively learning through service, participants will gain knowledge, foster a sense of community, and embrace reciprocity. The class will be marketed through the UCO website, social media, campus tours, flyers, T-shirts, student paper, campus radio, and the Volunteer and Service Learning Center. Facilitated by Dr. Frush and alumni from the Organizational Leadership Program, students will receive two credit hours, a T-shirt, transportation, and an unforgettable experience. The course includes online surveys, discussions, and volunteer activities at organizations like the Fine Arts Institute, Infant Crisis Center, Positive Tomorrows, Faith Works in the Inner City, and Young Life. The class concludes with reflections and group discussions.
