  2. Acknowledgement of country We acknowledge the Noongar people as the traditional owners of this land and pay our respects to their Elders – past, present and future, for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of indigenous Australia

  3. A Gathering Prayer Lord, God of energy and life-giving water, fill us with your Spirit, so that we too may see the way to come to You, refreshed and transformed. Look kindly on this group that trusts in You. During this gathering, as we discuss and reflect on important issues, help us to hear the voice of your Spirit and receive Your word in faith. Give us true discernment, prudence in judgement, firmness in decision and wisdom in planning. May diversity of views come together in common goals. May we always act with true concern for both the present and the future, respecting our tradition but attentive to the signs of the time. We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen
