  7. Click to go back The Expo Day By Zoe It all happened on Friday. I was so amazed that all of the Higher Learning Cluster schools were coming to our school. As soon as they got here Emma and I ran to the P.E. shed. We were yelling out loud and singing a song to the schools. Emma ran over to Ellie to see if she wanted to get something out of the P.E. shed. She said no, she said that she wanted to play on the playground. So we asked other people. After that it was morning tea. Mum made yummy muffins, they were squishy like marshmallows. The bell rang and we hurried to our classes to find out who our e-buddy was. I got Maia-Jo and Holly. Next we made a paper plane, we had to research to find out how to make a paper plane that would fly a long way. It was fun making the planes, the folding was easy. I made a jet plane with a pointy nose. Everyone walked out to the court to launch our paper darts. It was a competition and to see which plane could fly the furtherest. Harry’s and Eric’s planes won. It looked like a volcano exploding when all the planes flew into the air at once. Then the teachers yelled out, it’s lunch time. It was so squishy to get through all of the people. I went straight to my school bag. I went round to the deck, it was a shared lunch at the front of the school. I had a piece of bread with butter on it, pineapple was one of the too, ham, buns, chocolate cake with coconut on top and I won’t forget the marshmallows. I had finished my lunch. I asked if I could go, our teacher Mrs Nikora said yes, so I put my lunch box away and ran off to play with my friends. They were playing with a skipping rope. I said that I wanted to play too. They said yes. I asked, “please can I have a turn?” Yay, it was my turn next. Finally it was my go, Yay, I wanted to try jump in to the skipping rope. We sang a song that was called blue bells, cockle shells. The bell rang, ding-a-ling a ding. “Oh,o-o-o,” I said. “I only got to have one turn,” I said. “That’s because you took too long eating you lunch,” said Emma. “Okay,” I said. So we went back inside. Soon it was time for the Higher Learning Cluster schools to go back to their schools. It was not normal because another bell rang again and it was time to play a game with out the Higher Learning Cluster schools. So we went outside again and played Cops and Robbers. In no time at all the bell went again, ding-a-ling-a-ding. Ryan called our the bus list. “Bye, bye, see you tomorrow,” we all said.

  8. Autumn Clickto go back Autumn is fiery red crackling to the ground like a blanket covering the Earth Autumn is veined leaves covering your feet Autumn is green fejoias rustling to the ground Autumn is a picnic in the backyard, under the trees with apples, pears, fejoias and much more Autumn is green, red, purple, brown and yellow bold leaves in the wild, wet wind whistling in your ear. Autumn is flying a big flip, flap, dip, and diving, looping, floating, twirling, dashing kites. By Zoe Pardoe
