  1. Your Business Needs To Become A Brand. Here’s Why ? Branding is the value that is brought to a business. It is the sum total of all the values the product represents and how the customers view the product. In the market, a product will only sell if its sought after by its customers. It will only be sought after if the customers choose it over its competition. The customers will only choose it if they view it as a brand which is better than ordinary. Branding makes your product have an identity. It is not just about the logo or design that makes a brand. They are mere representations of what your brand depicts. What the customer will relate to is much more than that. It is how the customer is able to differentiate your product from others with similar characteristics. The communication, the product packaging, the experience in stores, the pricing, sponsorship and partners. Imagine a brand to be a person who builds his personality from scratch as he grows up. It differentiates you from your competitors. The customers will keep coming not because they are loyal to the product but to the brand. You prefer Colgate over any other brand although other toothpaste brand may contain the same product type. Toothpaste is just any toothpaste but do you realize the value of brand recall when you go to buy toothpaste and Colgate is the first product you ask for? Make your product unique and only then you will stand out. It connects with customers on a more emotional level. A brand inculcates values and that is why a customer relates to it. They see motivational ads of Nike promoting grit and hard work which motivates them to indulge in physical activities. With Nike’s ‘Just do it’ campaigns customers relate to it on a more emotional level which builds their loyalty to purchase Nike products over any other similar brand. It lessens confusion among people because they know what they are expecting. The customers know exactly what they want and thus it helps them make a quick decision and choose wisely because the trust factor is already there. A brand promise delivered right will go a long way to in getting loyal customers. Strong brands are always a shortcut to the customer purchase decision. The offerings of the brand should be consistent with the values it is showcasing. Crocs footwear is not appealing to the eyes yet it is a favorite amongst customers because it has built itself on comfort. A strong brand identity attracts talent. We all want a strong resume and the only way to make it strong is to work for a company that people know about. A good and a strong company attracts talent because of the quality environment it provides. For example, Google with its many great perks is one of the most sought after workplaces for people. Stakeholder’s trust is stronger with a stronger brand. In the end the Goodwill of a brand is very important for its long term growth. Investors will invest more because they look at the reputation of a brand. Providers look at the professionalism. Other stakeholders include the Government, partners etc.

  2. Strong brand allows you to follow a direct path. Since a direction of the brand is established, it allows the company to stay focused on a clear goal which proves to be a beneficial strategy because it saves time. This helps in the growth of the brand and that is why strong brands can survive any market shock. So we should select good brand design agency very carefully.
