  6. Method B • Has only a manufacturer’s label • Contents must be verified by a nurse

  7. Method B Verified Container Nurses’ initials and date signifies they have compared manufacturer’s label to HCP order and verified contents Individual’s name written by nurse

  8. HCP Order Notation by Nurse Notation on HCP order by nurse verifying OTC med

  9. Method B Verification • Must be done by a nurse when • a new container is bought • the HCP order is updated

  10. Method B Verified Container Individual’s name written by nurse Chip Brown MD 9/15/yr MD 12/3/yr Nurses’ initials and date signifies they have compared manufacturer’s label to HCP order and verified contents
