  3. Precautions Changes • Added support for disabling Precautions. .

  4. MDS • Added/deleted fields from specific ISCs as per the MDS changes outlined in the MDS3.0_Item_Changes_v1.11.2.pdf document published by CMS. (See Appendix II in release notes) • Added/deleted many section S fields as per the MDS Changes outlined in the October_1_2013_SectionSItems_v2.0.pdf. (See Appendix III in release notes)

  5. MDS • Added the following DPT classes to the MDS Crosswalk, field N0410G (Diuretics): • 242 — Mercurial Diuretics • 299 — Osmotic Diuretics • 333 — Potassium-Sparing Diuretics • 1613 — Loop Diuretics • 1614 — Thiazide and Related Diuretics • 1473 — Diuretic - Aldosterone Receptor Antagonist

  6. MDS • Added fields O0400A3A, O0400B3A, O0400C3A and O0420.

  7. MDS • MDS3 printouts updated to support changes effective 10/01/2013. • Replaced fields K0700 with K0710

  8. MDS • Screens can now be resized and maximized to avoid an issue with content being cropped when the screen font scale was is to a value larger than 100%, modules Federal Forms, MDS 3.0 Reports and QM Reports.

  9. Progress Notes • Changed the shift codes that display on printouts of the shift report from "1", "2", "3" to "Day", "Eve", "Night".

  11. Rehab Touch • Improved overall look and feel of the Rehab Touch Module. • Rehab touch now supports entering Co-Treatment minutes. (Appendix IX-pg 17 release notes)

  13. Rehab Reports Changes • Enhanced "MDS 3.0 Treatment Summary" report to reflect changes related to new Rehab Low and Rehab Medium RUG categories calculations which take effect on 10-01-2013).

Optimum EMR-Report Security • Added New EMR Report generator to Optimum Security (Appendix I-page 4)  The new EMR Report Generator is an automated routine that assists you with the process of generating reports for various parts of a resident’s EMR by providing a simplify way to generate a PDF report for different parts of the EHR.

  18. Optimum EMR-Report Security To enable this feature: •  Login to • Select a role from the drop down menu.  • Left click on the functions button located near the bottom left of the screen. • Open the folder. • Open the folder.

  20. Optimum EMR-Report Security Check off the boxes next to the menu item you would like to enable for that user role. Note: As a short cut to select all simply put a check in the box next to Left click on the button to save your changes.

  21. Optimum EMR-Report To run these reports: •  Login to • Search for the resident in the lookup. • Left click on the menu item.

  22. Optimum EMR-Report • Select ‘From’ and ‘Thru’ dates in the Period Selector located at the top of the screen.

  24. Optimum EMR-Report • Left click on the icon next to at the bottom of the screen. Left click on the directory in which you would like the report folder to be created.
