Our journey into eLearning at DCPS highlights significant milestones from the 2003-04 school year to the 2010-11 school year, encompassing various laptop deployments for students and teachers. With a focus on engagement, relevance, and authentic preparation, we successfully integrated technology into two comprehensive high schools, serving over 3,100 laptops to students. Our model emphasizes professional development, strong vendor partnerships, continuous evaluation, and support to enhance educational experiences, preparing students for 21st-century skills while navigating challenges like budget constraints.
