  1. ControlSoft useable control technology featuring Sunrise/Sunset Calculations Calculations of Sunrise and Sunset are now included as part of the ControlSoft Scheduler - this PowerPoint demonstrates it use.

  2. ControlSoft useable control technology First things first. Go into the Config section to set your global position. This is necessary so that ControlSoft knows where you are and the Timezone you are in.

  3. ControlSoft useable control technology Notice the area marked “Global Position” and fill in your whereabouts in Latitude, Longitude and Timezone ( the example above is Perth, Western Australia)

  4. ControlSoft useable control technology Once these details are saved into the Database, you shouldn’t need to use them again. Now go to the Edit menu and bring up the Scheduler as per usual.

  5. ControlSoft useable control technology Note the new check-box for Sunrise and Sunset dependency.

  6. ControlSoft useable control technology The selection boxes change to suit this mode, and you are given the settings for this location that you would have set in the “config” screen. You are also shown today’s Sunrise and Sunset for comparison with your local authority.

  7. ControlSoft useable control technology This example uses ‘recurring date’ but you could also use ‘specific date’ as usual - watch above as the schedules get built.

  8. ControlSoft useable control technology We’ve selected “Tuesday” and we are selecting “1 hour”...

  9. ControlSoft useable control technology Select “After” or “Before”...

  10. ControlSoft useable control technology Select “Sunrise” or “Sunset”...

  11. ControlSoft useable control technology Select your preferred macro to run as per normal

  12. ControlSoft useable control technology You can now read back in English what you are doing and then press the enter button if you are happy - note above it reads: “Every Tuesday, 1:00 hour After Sunset execute the Car Park Security macro”

  13. ControlSoft useable control technology Once you’ve pressed the ‘enter’ button - it pops it in as usual. Notice the confirmation of the actual time the macro is executed in brackets, this will of course alter by a minute or two each day of the year.
