Ultima XL / XT Sales Support • Customer requirements • HART handheld controller • Must be compatible with the Emerson 375 • Emerson 275 will NOT work • HART Rev 6 or Rev 7 • Latest DD’s downloaded to handheld controller • A Device Description (DD) is an electronic data file prepared in accordance with Device Description Language specifications that describes specific features and functions of a device including details of menus and graphic display features to be used by host applications (including handheld devices) to access all parameters and data in the corresponding device. • Download from Emerson website (or other handheld controller that subscribes to the HART foundation updates) • Through HART membership www.hartcomm2.org • Available from MSA
