MEXT : Benefits • จำนวนทุน : ประมาณ 50 ทุนต่อปี • ทุนการศึกษาจะได้ 160,000 เยนต่อเดือน • เงินช่วยเหลือ 25,000 เยน รับที่ท่าอากาศยานทันทีที่ถึงญี่ปุ่น • ตั๋วเครื่องบินไปประเทศญี่ปุ่นเมื่อได้รับทุน และเดินทางกลับประเทศเมื่อสิ้นสุดการรับทุน • ค่าใช้จ่ายที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการศึกษา ค่าเทอม ค่าธรรมเนียมต่างๆ ได้รับการยกเว้น • ทางรัฐบาลญี่ปุ่นจะจัดหาที่พักให้ในช่วง 1-2 ปีแรก

MEXT : Qualification • สัญชาติไทย อายุตั้งแต่ 22 ปีแต่ไม่เกิน 35 ปี ณ วันที่ 1 เมษายนปีการศึกษาถัดไป • จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีหรือเทียบเท่า หรือกำลังจะจบการศึกษาในเดือนมีนาคมปีการศึกษาปัจจุบัน • สาขาที่ศึกษาต่อจะต้องเป็นสาขาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสาขาที่จบมา • GPA >= 3.50แต่ถ้ามีความรู้ด้านภาษาญี่ปุ่น (JLPT) - ระดับ 1 : GPA >= 2.80- ระดับ 2 : GPA >= 3.00 • ระดับ 3 : GPA >= 3.30 หรือสอบ Examination for Japanese University Admission for InternationalStudents(EJU) ได้ผลคะแนนรวมวิชา “Mathematics Course2” และ “Science” รวมกันมากกว่า 260 คะแนน • ข้อสอบทั้งหมดเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ • สอบสัมภาษณ์เป็นภาษาอังกฤษ หรือภาษาญี่ปุ่น

MEXT : Scholarship System • Initial Status : Research Student • Length : 2 years • Japanese Course : 6 months ในช่วงเวลาสองปี จะต้องสอบเข้ามหาวิทยาลัย เพื่อเปลี่ยนสถานะเป็นนักศึกษาปริญญาโท (หรือปริญญาเอก) ถ้าไม่สามารถสอบให้ผ่านได้ภายในสองปี จะสิ้นสุดทุน ในทำนองเดียวกัน เมื่อจบปริญญาโทแล้วต้องการต่อปริญญาเอก จะต้องสอบเข้าปริญญาเอกให้ได้ทันที ถ้าคณะหรืออาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาไม่ยินยอมให้ต่อปริญญาเอก จะสิ้นสุดทุน

Panasonic : Benefits • จำนวนทุน : 3 ทุนต่อปี • ปีที่ 1 : สถานภาพ Research Student • ค่าใช้จ่ายรายเดือน 150,000 เยน • เงินช่วยเหลือ 200,000 เยน (ครั้งเดียว) • ค่าธรรมเนียมการศึกษาช่วยไม่เกิน 500,000 เยนต่อปี • ปีที่ 2-3 : สถานภาพ Graduate Student • ค่าใช้จ่ายรายเดือน 180,000 เยน • เงินช่วยเหลือค่าสอบเข้า 200,000 เยน (ครั้งเดียว) • ค่าธรรมเนียมการศึกษาช่วยไม่เกิน 500,000 เยนต่อปี ในทำนองเดียวกับทุน MEXT ถ้าสอบเข้าไม่ได้ในปีแรกจะสิ้นสุดทุน

Panasonic : Qualification (2550) • มีสัญชาติไทย • ผู้สมัครจะต้องสำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีหลักสูตรสี่ปีมาแล้วไม่เกิน 4 ปี หรือกำลังจะสำเร็จการศึกษาภายในเดือนกรกฎาคม 2552 • สาขาวิชาที่สำเร็จการศึกษา - วิทยาศาสตร์ - วิศวกรรมศาสตร์ - เทคโนโลยีชีวภาพ - เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ • ผู้สมัครต้องมีผลการศึกษาคะแนนสะสมเฉลี่ย (GPA) ตลอดระยะเวลาของการศึกษา ไม่น้อยกว่า 3.00 • มีความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาญี่ปุ่น : หลังผ่านการคัดเลือกแล้วผู้สมัคร จะต้องศึกษาภาษาญี่ปุ่นจนกระทั่งมีความรู้ และสามารถพูด อ่านเขียนภาษาญี่ปุ่นในระดับมาตรฐานเดียวกัน ต้องสอบผ่านระดับ 3 ของ Japanese Language Proficiency Test ภายใน ธันวาคม 2551

  20. AYF : Benefits • ได้เรียนภาษาญี่ปุ่นที่โอซาก้าเป็นเวลา 7 เดือน • ทุนที่ได้รับเหมือนกับทุน MEXT ทุกอย่าง • ภายหลังจากสิ้นสุดช่วงเวลาเรียนภาษา จะเปลี่ยนสถานะเป็นนักเรียนทุน MEXT และไปเรียนต่อที่ญี่ปุ่นได้ทันที • เรียกได้ว่าเป็นทุนเรียนภาษา + ทุน MEXT รวมในทุนเดียวกัน

  23. Thai Government Scholarship เช่น • ทุนกระทรวงวิทยาศาสตร์ • ทุน ก.พ. • ฯลฯ • ต้องใช้ทุนโดย: • ทำงานในหน่วยงานราชการไม่ต่ำกว่าสองเท่าของระยะเวลาที่ศึกษาต่อ • ใช้เงินสามเท่าของทุนที่ใช้ไป

Recommendation Scholarship • เป็นการติดต่อระหว่างอาจารย์ไทย ที่รู้จักหรือจบมาจากญี่ปุ่น กับอาจารย์ที่ญี่ปุ่น • ถ้าอาจารย์ญี่ปุ่นตอบรับที่จะให้เข้าเรียนต่อที่แลป มักจะได้รับทุนรัฐบาลญี่ปุ่นเสมอๆ • ที่มาของนักเรียนไทยที่ได้ทุนเกินครึ่งที่ Osaka U. มาจากทุน Recommendation • ไม่มีข้อจำกัดด้านเกรดเฉลี่ย ขอให้อยากวิจัยก็มีโอกาส
