  3. What is present perfect tense?When can we use it? • it refers to an action that took place and was finished in the past, but its consequences are felt at present: I have told him the truth (I told him and now he knows all about it) PAST PRESENT

  4. it refers to an action (or state) that started in the past and has been in progress up to the present moment. PAST PRESENT I have waited for you for two hours.

  7. Do not forget Ever and neverare often used with present perfect tense in questions and negative sentences. Have you ever drunk alcohol? I have never drunk alcohol.
