  1. Gita Sriram • MBA in Marketing and Communications • Started and ran own Media Consulting Company • Have done over a hundred successful corporate training programmes at all levels • I consider myself blessed – along with the others here – to be in PM

  2. Conflict of Interest • I own and live in 188 Phase I • I have no conflict of interest should I join the Managing Committee of Palm Meadows

  3. Palm Meadows is special! • Once in a long while, many elements come together to create something of outstanding value • It is easy to point out errors and omissions – certainly need to action them. But, let us not lose sight of positives • Can we all ensure that years from now PM will still be outstanding?

  4. The A+ issues • Maintenance fund and its appropriate use • Cultural growth • Domestic Help • Traffic and other issues on the roads of PM • …

  5. Maintenance Fund • It is our money, and we need to protect it • My approach to this is intelligent common sense • I have no finance background • Will support whichever group is working on this

  6. Culture • Some isolated efforts (some of them very good) are being made by individuals • We need to do more as a community • I would like to contribute to our community

  7. Domestic Help • You will agree more money by itself is not a good motivator • Can we organise ourselves so we can benefit our domestic help (maids, drivers etc.)? • At the same time, can we make this a win-win arrangement for all concerned? • Would like to work collectively to find good solutions

  8. Traffic in PM • Train security personnel on traffic rules and instruct them to formally tell EVERY taxi that comes into PM. Within PM • Respect the speed limit of 30 KMPH • Use of horns and high beam headlight is not allowed • Don’t cut across at right turns – make them at 90 degrees • Help to see that people who drive our own cars also follow these simple rules

  9. SUBHIKSHA • Finally, let us help each other apply the concept of Subhiksha in our community. “When every member of any group – a family, a company, a nation, … contributes more than he/she consumes, we have Subhiksha”
