The National Science Week Competition 2014 invites students to dream big by inventing a product for the year 2114. Participants are challenged to create something innovative that doesn’t already exist. Judges will evaluate on creativity, research depth (functionality, user benefits, potential costs, and feasibility), and presentation quality. Top posters will be submitted to the Association of Science for nationwide judging. With 60 impressive entries, we celebrate both overall winners and runners-up from different school categories. Congratulations to all who participated!

Whole School Science Competition Your science Challenge: To imagine the future. Invent a product that could be used in our world in the year 2114.
What the judges are looking for: Most innovative idea – something new, and modern. Make sure your product doesn’t exist already! Best researched – how will your product work? how will it help people? Who might use it? How much would it cost? How easy is it to make? Presentation – clear and neat.
The best posters entered at school will be sent off to the Association of Science to be judged alongside entries from schools all over the country.
There were 60 posters entered into the competition. They were all so good that there are runners up as well as overall winners
