  3. MY BROTHER NICOLÁSThe person I admire the most is my brother Nicolás. He is a very special boy because he has such a determined and strong character. He is always smiling and he works very hard every day though he has to overcome many obstacles in his life. Nicolás is eleven years old; he is three years younger than me. He has got short brown hair and brown eyes. He is short, slim and good-looking. Many people say he looks like me. He is also the best model in the world. Nico is the November's kid in Adisfama's calendar, a non- profit organization which helps children with disabilities. He looks charming in this calendar´s picture. My only brother has got a great personality. He´s energetic, adventurous and friendly. He loves playing tennis and riding horses. In the future he wants to be a motorcyclist. Due to his intellectual disability he has got problems when he speaks and reads. However, he is very obstinate and he loves challenges. Twice a month Nico goes to a psychiatric therapy. Nicolás is very lucky, his friends help him and love him very much because he is very funny and lovely. I admire him because he is strong enough to face his life and fights courageously. No matters what, he is always happy. My family feels very proud of him. Our biggest concern is to provide him with autonomy for the next years. He is a good brother and though we sometimes argue I love him so much.elmamendozaramirez

  5. My Brother by Itahisa Rodríguez de León A person that I admire is my brother. His name is Agoney. He is 13 years old. His birthday is in November. He was born on 4th 1997. He is three years younger than me. We have got another brother, Ancor, 11 years old. Agoney lives in El Time with his parents. He has got a lot of animals because he likes them very much. Agoney has got a problem with his bones. It is a very rare illness and I don´t remember how it is called. He has had many operations, not only in his legs but also in his left eye. His eye operations were made in Barcelona and he has to go every time they call him. His legs were operated in Gran Canaria and he has to go when they call him too. He has to accept that he can´t do most things that other children do, and his dream is to be able to play football like everyone else. He is fair-skinned and his eyes have a different color one from the other. His left eye, which was operated, is blue and the other is brown and, of course, he wears glasses. He has got short, straight, blond hair. His body is muscular, skinny and broad-shouldered. All in all, I admire my brother because he has got a hard and difficult problem but he is very funny and happy with his life. I love my brother!

  7. The woman who I love the most in my life is my mum. She is the model I want to follow. She is a very special person to me and she has always been there to help me. She is a hard working woman, smiley and easy. She is a woman who has always had a smile on her face even when times get hard. She is a very great person but she knows how to be young and to have a good time with the family. In some moments she helps me and she corrects my mistakes, I know she doesn’t do it to make me feel bad but because she loves me, and I hope that I can be a nicer and bigger person too.   8. We both know that time goes on very quickly, full of lies that I will just have to face myself. I hope to be a woman like my mother, and never let my parents down. I hope to be as good and as nice as my mother is, to be as loveable and special like her, and I hope that one day my children will be able to say: -MY MUM IS THE BEST, SHE WILL ALWAYS BE MY GUIDE IN LIFE AND THE PERSON I WANT TO FOLLOW -I know that my mum will get older and I will look after her the same way she looked after me: She tells me that she loves me and that she wants me to help her when she is old, and she says that I will have to form a family and have my own things to worry about, and I don't like hearing those words. I am scared that one day, when I have got my own family, I will forget about my mum because I will be so busy in my own stuff that I won't have time for her and it hurts me to think about that.
