Statewide Communications Interoperability Plan (SCIP)Strategic Planning Session“Why We’re Here Today” To refresh the Texas Interoperable Communications Plan and meet the specific March 2007 DHS/SAFECOM 10-step criteria for Statewide Communications Interoperability Plans To develop long-term strategic initiatives and short-term critical initiatives that will immediately and directly impact communications interoperability across jurisdictions and agencies. Because all future federal grant applications must be in accordance with the SCIP and coordinated through the State Administrative Agency. Because all plans must be submitted to DHS by Sept. 30, 2007 to be eligible for the PSIC grant.
