Restart – Leonardo TOI • Partners, Ni, Poland, Italy, Belgium, Scotland, Norway, Cyprus • Lone Parent Organisations, University, Colleges, Vocational Education and Training bodies, NGO’s, JC+ Employment Services Ireland • Participants – Lecturers/teachers/students/Local Authority Staff/NGO’s • Objectives: To overcome barriers to employment and education faced by lone parents, develop on-line delivery and support training materials. • How: TOI - Transfer the existing best practice developed by Gingerbread in North Ireland to other EU partner countries, Poland, Italy, Norway, Cyprus, Belgium and the UK.

  3. Youth of Europe 'YouropiaComenius • 10 Partners, Italy, Poland, Germany (2), Spain, Portugal, Greece, Hungary, Netherlands, Scotland • Colleges, University, High Schools • Participants – Lecturers/teachers/students • Objectives: To help students develop those competencies and abilities necessary for their personal development and social integration and in strengthening their active European citizenship • How: Online magazine integrally designed and written by the students under their teachers supervision. Reversed Roles, develop an E_Handbook, a web site designed and managed by the students, student mobility’s.

TALIS - Trainers in adult Learning Innovative Strategies – Grundtvig (€20,000) • 10 Partners, Italy, Romania, Germany, Austria, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Lithuania, Poland, Scotland • Colleges, High Schools, Universities, Education Authority, Centre for Educational Research, In-Service Training Centre • Participants – Lecturers/teachers/students/Local Authority Staff/NGO’s • Objectives: To enable the institutions to implement blended learning environments • How: Trainers will get familiar with the implications of working with adult learners, learning how to manage the adult classroom, acquiring the necessary ICT/VLE, develop a teaching-learning guide, a manual for blended-learning education

QUALIPATHS – Leonardo • 8 Partners, France (2), Turkey, Italy, Germany, Poland, Scotland, Bulgaria • Adult Training Department of State Education, Colleges, Universities, Education Authority, NGO’s, • Participants – Lecturers/teachers/students/Local Authority Staff/NGO Workers • Objectives: Identifying existing practices throughout the overall quality management processes, identify best practices and develop/investigate further improvement possibilities. • How: Three transnational preparation seminars with local and regional stakeholders, experts, operational staff and beneficiaries. Investigate/compare the ways VET organisations are involved in quality assurance as well as how regional or local policies give the impulse to quality assurance.

E-Cuisine – Leonardo TOI • 10 Partners, France (3), Germany, Poland, Scotland • Adult Training Department of State Education, Regional network for Hotel and Catering, Corporate Entrepreneurs’ Union of Restaurants and Hotels, Association of Hospitality Enterprises, University, College • Participants – Lecturers/teachers/students/Local Authority Staff/NGO’s • Objectives: Transfer of E_Learning Tools, transfer the existing French approach to a European hub and then provide multilingual access through the Internet. • How: Adapt the approach and create new tools for each partner training network, make VET more responsive to working life as regards the improvement of qualifications, make preparation for mobility schemes more efficient.

E_EPSOL – Leonardo TOI • Partners, France, Germany, Poland, Italy, Ireland, Belgium, Scotland • Adult Training Department of State Education, University, Colleges, Vocational Education and Training bodies, NGO’s, Private Language School, EU partnership. • Participants – Lecturers/teachers/students/Local Authority Staff/NGO’s • Objectives: To combat the multiple barriers/problems faced by Ethnic groups on top of those in common with others far from gaining entry into to mainstream education and employment. • How: Transfer the existing Best practice model developed under the EQUAL project to support Ethnic groups into education and employment, Vocational ESOL and work placement along with development of employability skills.
