  1. A Note From the Teacher... Do you love your job and want to share it with others?! Then you would be a great candidate for Teach In! It is fast approaching and we only have one volunteer signed up to speak. The kids are so EXCITED about this day and are looking forward to it  Please consider being a guest speaker in our class on November 20th. We promise to be a great audience! We are also working on consonant digraphs (th, sh, wh, ch, tch, and ph), verbs, compound words, and base words with endings –s/ -ed /-ing. Please make sure that you have your child write in complete sentences, when working at home or completing homework  Math-We are working inChapter 3 on Basic Facts and Relationships! Students are learning about many different addition and subtraction strategies. Please continue to have you child practice their addition and subtraction facts at home. Social Studies-We are wrapping up our lessonsabout Where We Live. Students have learned about our city, state, country, continent, and world. We will be starting a unit on Matter soon  I <3 a Book Day Do you love reading to kids? If so, you would make a great Mystery Reader for I Love a Book Day! If you are interested in being a Mystery Reader on Thursday, please contact Paula Chalfant or Naomi Bowden. We are looking to fill more spots!
