  5. The Majority of the 180 New Teachers Hired this Summer were Female

  6. Approximately 70% of New Teachers Hired this Summer were From Colleges within Alabama

  7. The Majority of New Teachers Hired In-State Graduated from Athens, UAH, AAMU, Auburn and UA

  8. The Percent of New Teachers Hired Varied Widely Across Colleges with Large Numbers of Auburn andUAH Teachers Being Hired at High Rates Percentage Hired From In-State Colleges

  9. On a 40 Point Scale, The Average Score for All New Teachers Hired was 34
