WG12 Progress Since Funchal • Signed Off by Convener • ISO/IS 10303-107 (Finite element analysis definition relationships) • ISO/CD 10303-51 (Mathematical description) • ISO 10303-42:1994/Cor.3:2000 – Cumulative of previous • ISO/DIS 10303-518 - Passed DIS w/100% - In for preliminary Convener review for IS distribution • EXPRESS defects technical corrigendum for 10303-40/100/500 series IS parts • 41, 42tc1,42tc2, 42tc3, 42e2tc1, 43tc1, 43tc2, 44, 45, 46tc1, 47, 101, 105tc1, 105tc1, 519 • Additional 46tc2 issues identified – plan to finalize document at this meeting • Future TCx will probably incorporate previous TC changes (cumulative)

WG12 Progress Since Funchal • Submitted to Convener for Preliminary Review (NWI/CD) • ISO/CD TS 10303 - PDM suite of modules • product identification (Ballot Package 1 ProdID) • product structure (Ballot Package 2 ProdStr) • engineering change (Ballot Package 3 EngChg) • configuration and effectivity (Ballot Package 4 ConfEff) • document and file management (Ballot Package 5 DocFile) • validation properties (Ballot Package 6 ValProp) • properties (Ballot Package 7 Props) • shape representation (Ballot Package 8 Rep) • Available for review for ISO 10303 • WD 10303-108 (Parameterization and constraints for explicit geometric product models) • WD 10303-52 (Mesh Based Topology) • WD 10303-53 (Numerical Analysis)

  4. WG12 Progress Since Funchal • Unique Name Verification Tool for ISO Parts • STEP Tools, Inc. (www.steptools.com) • Take NOTE! It works! • Will work with STI/SC4 Sec to ensure correct schema are being used • Identified and corrected errors prior to current ballots

WG12 Progress Since Funchal SEDS (10303) • SC4 Sec is working this • Great Progress • May have duplicates* • Should be closed** • Lot of cleanup in interim • Appears that process is starting to work for identification of new SEDS and working old/new SEDS • Identified new ISO 10303-46 issues for TC

Issues for Week • ISO 10303-46 TC2 Technical Issues • Short to Long Generation for EXPRESS Extensible Selects – Modules • Module numbering procedures within SC4 and WG12 • Synchronizing of EXPRESS, Short Name Registry, and SOLIS for Common Resources • Supplementary Directives for HTML publication of SC4 documents

Goals of Week • Review progress of WG12 projects • New WG12 Deputy Convener – closed 1 June • Address WG12 SEDS issues • Review integration efforts of ISO 10303-52/53/108/109 and other projects • Module Team efforts within SC4 and WG12 • Future ISO deliverables • 2nd Edition of ISO 10303-46 • 2nd Edition and/or Minor Revision of ISO 10303-47
