  1. Arctic habitat By Travis Brown

  2. Animals • There are many animals in the arctic habitat like the arctic hare or the polar bear. • Some other animals such as the arctic Tern, Arctic wolf and many more. • Lichens are a type of bird that are all over the arctic ground.

  3. The arctic food chain • Here is a picture of the arctic food chain. If one thing from the arctic food chain is gone it can effect all the animals in the food chain even the bottom of the food chain.

  4. Seasons Around winter and stuff the arctic is a icy and snowy habitat but in the summer it`s sunny but still cold. Here are some pictures of the seasons. In the arctic the summers there are really short so they don`t get lots of sun but the winters are very long.

  5. More animals There are many animals living in the arctic like the lemming. It`s a type of bird that is very common in the arctic. So is the snowy owl it eats little mice and some birds.

  6. Human interference Whale hunters are a big problem and hunting. There are not many people interfering in the arctic because few people go up there, but there are some things like big boats that crush the ice.

  7. What animals eat If you look at the picture on the left that`s what some animals eat but other animals eat the other animals in the arctic.

Dangerous creatures in the arctic • One of the biggest bears live in the arctic the polar bear it is also very dangerous too. • It is one of the most dangerous animals in the arctic because it`s at the top of the food chain. • So is the snowy owl it has sharp claws that could rip your skin. • It hunts mice and big ones could catch a mink.

  9. Endangered species • Polar bears are starting to be endangered and narwahls. • They are from hunters that come to the arctic to take their horns because you can sell them for lots of money. • They hunt polar bears for their fur or meat.

  10. Animal adaptations The polar bear adapts to the arctic because of there thick fur and there fat. The polar bears have lots to eat in the arctic because they are great hunters.
