  2. Gray Whales • My favorite animal is the Gray Whale.

  3. Gray Whales • They are agile swimmers and usually swim 2-6 miles per hour, but can make up to 10-11 mile per hour bursts if they are in danger. Video of the Gray Whale

  4. Gray Whales • They are often found alone or in small groups that do not stay together very long.

  5. Gray Whales • Gray Whales only live in the Northern Pacific Ocean. Their migration route is unknown but they most likely travel North to South to warmer waters of Southern China during the winter.

  6. Gray Whales • They get their food from the bottom of the ocean.

  7. Gray Whales • I love Gray Whales because they can go to warm water when they will get cold. It is one of the animal kingdom’s great migrators. They travel in groups called pods. Some of these giants swim 12,340 miles round trip.

  8. Gray Whales • Gray Whales are the best animals ever!
