President Winston Noble’s Campaign for Change Here’s the deal: President Winston Noble has begun to live up to his name and reevaluate many of the laws that govern your futuristic society. People everywhere are becoming more aware of President Noble’s intentions. Your character has decided to address President Noble directly by writing a letter stating your position on the rumored changes. As a writer, your task is to assume the persona of your character. You are not writing as yourself but as your character.
President Noble’s Three Changes • Take a few minutes to jot down three changes you think President Noble might make. They can be positive or negative changes. • And then we’ll share.
Some things to consider: • Who is President Winston Noble? (Hint: read pg. 93) • What changes do you think President Noble might like to make? • How do you think your character would feel about those changes? • Why might your character feel that way?
