Ground Unmanned Support Surrogate • Objective: • Deliver Autonomous Vehicle Capability to ECO LOE 4, EMO Fires LOE and EMO Log LOE that enhances Company level operations in logistics and mobility. • Delivered Capabilities • Autonomous “Point A to Point B” Navigation,“ Follow Me” and “Return home” with Minimal “Call Home” • Off-road Capability Equivalent to host vehicle • Autonomous, Tele-Op, or Driver On Board Capability with no Mission Interrupt • Size- Similar to ATV w/500 Pound Payload Plus (2) man FP det and (2) litter • Capable to carry (2) Cas Evac Litter • Speed min: 10 KPH / Range min: 10Km • Fully compatible with the Common Robot Controller SCHEDULE: • Technical Approach: • Team with selected vendor to produce autonomous vehicle • LTA to prove capability prior to ECO LOE 4 with follow-on refinement/LTA prior to EMO LOEs • Performers: • MCWL • NSWC-DD • Virginia Tech (TorcTech) FY09 FY10 FY11 TASKS FY12 SOW Contract Mod GUSS Delivered GUSS LTA ECO LOE 4 CasEvac LTA CRC Integration GUSS/ CRC LTA EMO LOEs
