Future Pennsylvania Environmental Public Health Tracking Network • Public Health integrated database • DEP to EPA exchanges, including secure data for environmental agencies only • EPA National Environmental Information Exchange Network • State EPHT exchanges with CDC Gateway • DOH to CDC exchanges, including secure data for health only. Data will be categorized based on privacy restrictions & security levels. For example, Restricted access / Confidential or Non-restricted access / Public. • CDC EPHT Gateway • Analysis, Visualization, Reporting Tools (AVR Toolkit), other tools currently being used such as SAS, Cognos, GIS software tools • Data Sharing is facilitated by Data Sharing Agreements. Data access & exchange are controlled by Role-based security once user’s identity has been authenticated via the Directory. The portal is the single point of entry. An information broker or ESB will support Federated Queries.
