  3. Larger sizes for STOP signs • 36 inches for any STOP sign facing a multi-lane approach • 36 inches for any multi-lane side road approach to a multi-lane road • 36 inches for any side road approach to a multi-lane road with a speed limit of 45 mph or higher

  4. New Guidance on the factors to be considered when establishing intersection right-of-way control • Based upon: • Vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian volumes • Number and angle of approaches • Approach speeds • Sight distance • Reported crash performance

  5. Conditions for allowable use of folding STOP signs for signal power outages

  6. The use of 2-WAY, 3-WAY, and 4-WAY plaques is prohibitedALL-WAY plaque remains as a “shall” if STOP signs are used on all approaches
