Well-led programme: develop registered managers into leaders • Available from autumn 2019, the Well-led programme is a leadership development programme for registered managers. • During the well-led programme, you’ll be supported through: • innovative thinking and learning • awareness of the impact of your leadership style • a clear understanding of what ‘well-led’ looks like • good practice real life examples • finding solutions to improve the quality of care • networking opportunities. www.skillsforcare.org.uk/well-led

Outstanding evidence • Gather evidence from day one – start compiling new evidence form the day after your last inspection • Ensure staff and others that use or engage with your service know is going on so they can back up what is documented • Have the evidence at hand – ensure you know where it is for when inspectors arrive • Take the time to submit further evidence
