  6. POINT ONE Just like clothes on you back, you should never leave home without the presence of God.

  7. Romans 13:14 Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires.

  8. Exodus 33:15-16 Then Moses said, “If you don’t personally go with us, don’t make us leave this place. How will anyone know that you look favorably on me—on me and on your people—if you don’t go with us? For your presence among us sets your people and me apart from all other people on the earth.”

  13. POINT THREE Just like your debit card allows you to withdraw money from the bank, time spent in the word and prayer allows you to draw on the strength of the Lord.

  17. POINT FOUR Just like your cell phone is there for you to contact other people, has GPS, google, etc, the Holy Spirit talks to us and leads us to where we need to go.

  18. Acts 13:2 One day as these men were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Dedicate Barnabas and Saul for the special work to which I have called them.”

  19. John 14:16-17 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.

  20. CONCLUSION • Do you find yourself leaving the house without being spiritually dressed? Do you take the presence of the Lord with you? • Do you leave the house without taking your identity in Christ with you? • Do you leave the house without the resources of God because you have let your spiritual bank account run out? • Do you leave the house without the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you? • DON’T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT THE ESSENTIALS.
