The Occuptaional Safety and Health Act (OSHA) -- Drafted in the year 1970 -- The Amendment years started in April 15th of 1981 with every new amendment eing added every two years, if changes are needed. -- It is an international act concerning the United States, Mexico, and other Latin countries.

Function and Environmental Issues Affected • OSHA’s function is to protect the rights of employees by providing healthy working conditions, and safety to reduce death rates that occur throughout a profession OSHA sets standards and leads the way in healthy working conditions, and acceptable safe conditions in job conditions that sometimes might be dangerous. • OSHA’s environmental Issues affected are very influential in a good way toward the environment. They enable many recycling movements, as well as clean air, water and environmental acts. OSHA is a positive influence when it comes to being leaders of a huge environmental clean-up project.

  3. Agency/Group Responsible for Regulation and Enforement • The U.S. Department of Labor is responsible for the Regulation and Enforcement of The Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
