Exploring Question Types in Character Interviews

In this lesson, students will engage in a "hot seating" activity where they will act as characters from a novel and answer a series of questions. Students will identify and categorize different types of questions including closed, open, and factual recall. By devising 10 diverse questions, they will enhance their understanding of questioning styles and their effects on character exploration. The lesson will culminate in a peer review, assessing the accuracy and variety of question styles used during the interviews.
