Economic situation plays to our advantage with the relatively low cost of participating in athletics • We connect via our clubs (300) our schools (925) and Universities (25) • And we continue the dialogue via our website, our facebook page, twitter and as importantly through our Regional Development Officers (RDO’s)

Little Athletics Programme5-9 year olds • Goal of the programme is to develop the ABC’s of athleticism for every 5-9 year old (agility, balance & co-ordination) • Ethos is about taking part & not about winning, it’s about having fun, making friends & getting families involved in sport • Community based programme from September to June each year • Every year in Ireland over 10,000 take part in the Little Athletics Programme through 180 clubs • Vision is for Little Athletics to be extended to all primary schools by xxx
