  1. Spider-Man Statues Spider-Man Comes Clean Spinning with Spider-Man • ‘Window washers promote the Spider-Man movie! This could be done in the city or suburbs with definite possibility of media exposure’ • High-Rise window washers have to use a scaffold • Window Washers • Wear Spider-Man branded clothing while washing windows • Place easy to remove Spider-Man stickers on windows • Wrap their work van’s with movie advertisement • Scaffolding • Place billboards around scaffold (see attached picture) • Hanging below, behind and on sides of scaffold • Spider-Man web spread across scaffolding ropes • Mid-Rise window washers use what is called a Boson chair • Washer on Boson Chair wears Spider-Man branded clothing • Condominiums, where windows open, washers could put a small flier to go see movie • In high traffic suburbs van’s would be wrapped with movie • ‘Partner with Bally’s Total Fitness to sponsor spinning contests at their clubs across the US’ • Bally’s Total Fitness: 350 clubs nationwide/ over 4MM members • Currently, spinning is the hottest class offered by Bally’s Total Fitness • Sign up for a year of spinning classes and receive 2 movie passes to Spider-Man • During class, while spinning, watch Spider-Man series • This series will be modified to be very fast, lots of action shots of Spider-Man and will also include the soundtrack music • Get Instructors Excited • Number of instructors vary per club, appx 15 • Wear T-shirts to promote movie • Spider-Man decals on wheels • Each week, “lucky” bike wins 2 free movie passes • Additional Hype • Spider-Man point-of-sale at clubs • Merchandising/give-a-ways in Bally’s store • ‘Strategically place small statues of Spider-Man around major cities. People attempt to locate the statues; take pictures and turn them into the “Daily Bugle” for the chance to win an all expense paid trip to the movie premier • “Daily Bugle” is the web-site created to announce winners, post pictures and drive consumer awareness of the movie • Team up with local radio stations to give on-air “spider” clues to whereabouts of statues • Consumers who send pictures into the “Daily Bugle” will be entered into sweepstakes to win one of the following prizes: • Grand Prize to the movie premier in Hollywood • Secondary prizing includes movie passes, T-shirts, etc. • Tie-in with Kinko's for point-of-sale and click-through to “Daily Bugle” • Assist consumers with downloading and sending pictures to “Daily Bugle”

Media Related • ‘Catch Spider-Man’s Infamous Rivals’ • Clues provide contestants the opportunity to “catch” Spider-Man’s rivals and win Spider-Man prizes • Clues given via various media outlets • David Letterman’s “Top Ten List” • “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” • People will call local radio stations (AM drive) with their answers • ‘Special Edition’ • “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” (Spider-Man Theme) • “Fear Factor” • Challenges to include walking on a web from building to building, and person covered with spiders for a limited amount of time • ‘TRL’ • Create spider web in Time Square windows of TRL over the course of a week with completion coinciding with Toby Maguire’s appearance • ‘Spider-Man Takes Over The Web’ • Versions of animated Spider-Man pop-up on different related web pages • Pop-ups will be click-through • ‘Billboards’ • Live/Hologram/Moving billboards • Hire professionals to climb around Spider-Man billboard in costume • Hologram billboards shows Spider-Man climbing building(s)/web(s) • ‘Mystery Man’ • Create suspense through radio stations by advertising mystery man who is saving lives and fighting crime • Final radio announcement to read, “The mystery man has been identified and listeners should come to bar “X” to meet this man” • When listeners get to bar “X” they meet Spider-Man! • Movie passes, etc. will be handed out • ‘Taxi Tops’ • Replace the usual taxi top with a life size Spider-Man • ‘Tie-in’ • Spider-Man theme Fruit Roll-Ups with coupons for the movie • Spider-Man “onpacks” on packages of popcorn • ‘Spider-Man and Channel M Arcade’ • Channel M Arcade has TVs in over 175 video arcades across the US in all major markets • In-store arcade promotions • Signage in and out of arcade • Spider-Man arcade game tournament sponsorship • Spider-Man sweepstakes • Name three Spider-Man villains and win Spider-Man T-shirts and free tokens to arcade game • Negotiate a Spider-Man behind the scenes program and run the advertisements with the movie (on Channel M) • ‘Spider-Man and Sci-Fi Channel’ • Spider-Man inspired movie marathon • Arachnophobia, Original Spider-Man, Spiders and Dr. Who and the Planet of the Spiders • During commercial breaks Toby Maguire and Kirsten Dunst could ask trivia questions about Spider-Man and share some personal stories about making the movie • Create a link made for the Sci-Fi Channel’s web-site, connecting it to the Spider-Man movie web-site • ‘Building Wraps’ • Wrap buildings in Spider-Man comics announcing the movie release • ‘Spider-Man Graffiti’ • Create a teaser campaign using billboards depicting giant spider webs prior to revealing Spider-Man movie advertisement
