  7. Proper Shoes for Labs

  8. Improper Shoes NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!! . exposed feet High heels not safe in Fabric shoes do not give enough protection. Flip-flops provide no protection. Clogs do not have closed backs.

  9. Foot Protection-Pilot Plant Area Steel-toes only!

  10. Suitable Clothing for Labs

  11. IMPROPER ATTIRE

  12. Specialty Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  13. Long Hair Long hair should be tied back in all laboratories and industrial areas.

  14. Consult with your supervisor to determine additional PPE needs: • At the beginning of employment • Before starting a new procedure (as needed)
