  2. Denotative Definition • Noun ---a sentence that does not end with the  completion of its main clause, but continues with one or more  subordinate clauses or other  modifiers. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/loose+sentence

  3. Common Language Definition • A loose sentence is colloquial, relaxed, and conversational. The main idea of this sentence is at the beginning, followed by phrases and clauses at the end.
