  2. In 1827, anagreement was being celebrated  with France under the nameof "Interim Statements", which laid the foundations for the future settlement of relations between both countries.

  3. Deffaudis, in a statementwas indicating that his government had to act with energy.

  4. Deffaudiswas writing an ultimatum demanding the payment of six hundred thousand dollars to cover damages to the French.
