Friendly Letter In 8 short months you will be sitting in a high school classroom.  For some, this sounds exciting and something that you are looking forward to; for others, it is a little scary. You are to write a friendly letter that details and explains your thoughts and feelings about the upcoming year. Your goals for the second half of this year and your expectations for high school. Follow the “friendly letter” format provided. Address your letter to yourself, a close friend or parent. Include your goals, expectations, fears, thoughts, feelings regarding the changes that will happen this year. A place to start is answering the following questions: What do you want to accomplish this school year? What changes do you have to make before high school? What fears do you have about changing schools? What expectations to do you about what high school will be like? Friends? School/Academics? Sports/Clubs?
