In this friendly letter to Santa, I’ll share my Christmas experiences, feelings, and wishes. Christmas is a magical time filled with joy and love, where my family comes together to celebrate. I enjoy decorating the tree, singing carols, and spending quality time with loved ones. This year, I wish for a new bike and some fun games.   1. “Friendly Letter”(Unit 2) 3rd Grade • Your teacher has asked you to write a letter to Santa. • Before you begin to write, think about what you do at Christmas time, how you feel at Christmas, and what you want for Christmas. • Now write a friendly letter to Santa telling him what you want for Christmas. • Your letter should have at least three paragraphs. • Give details and enough information so your teacher will understand what happened. • Be sure to write clearly. • Check your writing for correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar. • Use transition words to show sequence. • Use a variety of descriptive words in your writing.
