EJCR Web is a tool designed and customized in accordance with the local needs of the Islamic countries and specific criteria. It is presented in Persian, English, and Arabic languages and works to embody other languages of the Islamic countries. This web-based system has been designed according to the international scientometrics standards and is available for public use.
The ISC SCI deals with the analysis of the scientific publications of the Islamic countries based on valid scientometrics criteria. Through this index, it is possible to find the link between scientific documents and follow and investigate changes in prevailing opinions, assumptions, methods and tools.
The ISC E-Journals is the first of its kind to provide prompt and easy access to the whole collection of the content of high ranking journals in the Islamic world. Through this system it is also possible to review, search or browse such journals and ultimately observe their full list of contents.
ISC CAS allows Authors to set up a personal profile to save searches, set up search and document citation alerts and save lists to their profiles. Authors will also be informed through Email whenever their works got cited and will notice how often and who is citing their works.
ISC’s SJSS is a comprehensive Web-based manuscript submission and tracking system allowing authors to submit papers easily in several different file formats with a Web browser. They also can manage all their submissions from one integrated Web-based interface, using one account and one password. Since the system maintains and records the status of articles, authors wanting to know about their contributions can check via a Website rather than contacting ISC.
Questionnaires are being used in ISC to collect data for the ranking of universities in accordance with the final agreed documents on ranking methodology. Relevant organizations and universities in the Islamic countries are requested to contribute to the ranking process by providing the necessary data through these questionnaires. By collecting quantitatively reliable information and data on agreed research and education indicators of universities, ISC publishes the ranking of universities in IRAN and is tending to rank the OIC member countries in two levels in the future: OIC LEVEL NATIONAL LEVEL
In market research, the impact factor provides quantitative evidence for editors and publishers for positioning their journals in relation to the competition, especially others in the same subject category.
