  5. 30-60-90 triangle because we used 30-60-90 we found the missing side X=357 3 x=618.34in x=51.52 ft

  6. which worked better? the answers we got for trig. and similar triangles were almost the same (21.09 ft and 21.58 ft) but the answer we got from 30-60-90 triangles was very different (51.52 ft) why: the 30-60-90 triangle produced the answer most separated from the other 2 because it uses square roots which will not be exact

  7. pros and cons trig: pros; easy and accurate cons; you had to remember to add in the height of the person measuring the angle similar: pros;accurate. cons;it used a lot of steps and it had a lot of converting from in to feet. 30-60-90: pros; very easy. cons; not acurate
