Abe Lincoln Reading Programwww.nvlmc.org The Abraham Lincoln Award is awarded annually to the author of the book voted as most outstanding by participating students in grades nine through twelve in Illinois. The NVHS list this year is a compilation of titles from this year and years past. READ. WRITE. DISCUSS. EARN. 1. You are not required to partake. It is your choice.2. ONLY students without any missing work can partake. 3. Students may read two books per semester and attend two book talks with the program coordinators either before or after school. Rollover works!4. Students will earn 1% for the two books they read. This will be added to the final semester grade (i.e. Student has a 87% after the final exam is added in. The final grade becomes an 88%).
