Phil Navs Vision WE ENVISION LOVING COMMUNITIES living out and proclaiming the Gospel of God’s Kingdom leading to the transformation of hearts and lives, families and nations, from one generation to another. 1 Cor. 3:16 Don’t you realize that all of you together are God’s temple and the Holy Spirit of God lives in you?

MM Navs Mission Statement TO ADVANCE THE GOSPEL of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom into families and communities in Metro Manila and beyond through spiritual generations, living and laboring among the lost. 1 Cor. 3:16 Don’t you realize that all of you together are God’s temple and the Holy Spirit of God lives in you?

  4. MM Navs Strategy Campus 1. Organize student groups and provide opportunities and venues for fellowship and connections. 2. Strengthen and develop life and leadership skills of students that will prepare them to serve in ministry even after graduation. 3. Establish a network of students committed to our vision and calling all over Metro Manila. Alumni and Working People • Organize alumni groups and provide opportunities for fellowship and connections. • Encourage alumni to start their own ministry group. 3. Strengthen and train alumni and working people on stewardship, parenting and relationships, work and wealth creation, and on missions that they may live like missionaries whether they remain in the country or go overseas. 4. Identify and equip potential influencers and leaders for leadership in the different spheres of service (families, communities, workplaces, business, government, etc). Community 1. Help organize communities that adopt holistic approach to life, emphasizing the need for spiritual reconciliation with Jesus Christ, discipleship and transformation. 2. Participate in programs and activities that will help the poor overcome poverty, e.g. education, health and nutrition, livelihood and enterprise development, and values formation. 3. Priorities per Ministry Area • Assets – what will help in the realization of our vision that are already true/present in your group? • Needs – what will help in the realization of our vision that are not true/present in your group? • Priorities – Focusing on our vision, mission and strategy while considering your Assets and Needs, identify your priorities (activities, materials, equipment, etc.). 1 Cor. 3:16 Don’t you realize that all of you together are God’s temple and the Holy Spirit of God lives in you?

Campus Priorities • Assets: people and laborers, nav building, staff/equippers, prayer, Bible study materials • Needs: laborers, prayer, training, journals and bibles, student leaders • Priorities: 1. Establish communities/bible study groups/student orgs in the different schools where insiders are already present (Ateneo, TIP, PUP, FEU, Fatima, PSBA). 2. Regular prayer for campuses. 3. Annual camps for training and building of relationships (when there is no national camp we will conduct regional camps). 4. Create an FB for metro manila students. 5. Visits of students in the different schools, e.g. UP to Ramon Magsaysay, etc. 6. Training of Student Leaders (insider, intimacy with God, church/oikos, discipleship). Consider adopt a campus by CDM. 1 Cor. 3:16 Don’t you realize that all of you together are God’s temple and the Holy Spirit of God lives in you?

  12. Alumni and WPs Priorities Asset 1. Alumni from other regions converge in MM for work 2. Young age group: 21-35 3. Venue: Navs Center For Kuya Bobot and Ate Jean; Ate Hannah’s Place for UPD Women; Kuya Jaime’s group wd guys 4. Meetings not structured 5. Egroups and Facebook active 6. New UPD Alumni Needs 1. Other alumni not included (graduates from other campuses in MM), not integrated 2. YP’s older than 35yrs and still single, find themselves hard to blend in 3. New couples have other needs not met in the YP and Alumni group Priorities 1. Sustain the existing group- Kuya Bobot and Ate Jean, Ate Hannah’s group, Kuya Jaime-UPD guys 2. Connect with those not included- refer to database from last alumni conference 3. Create monthly gatherings for all YP’s and alumni; follow-up on the FACEBOOK LIVE 4. Invite older YP’s to conferences and anniversaries and other activities 5. Invite older couples and Professionals to community involvement – those who don’t fit the new couples, YP’s. 6. Parenting sessions for new couples with children less than 10 yrs old - A way to answer to the needs of young couples with children - 2 sessions per month starting September up to December 2010 - 30 minute lecture, 1hr & 30min open discussion - Proposed title: HELP! I’M A PARENT... - Open to young couple contacts of Alumni and YP’s 1 Cor. 3:16 Don’t you realize that all of you together are God’s temple and the Holy Spirit of God lives in you?

  13. Community Priorities • Assets: 1. proximity/living together/staying together, 2. all age group levels are present children, youth, couples, elderly 3. CHAI Resources 4. small business skills • Needs: 1. Values Education Seminar 2. Small business, Co-op 3. Volunteers/manpower 4. Conflict-Resolution Seminar 5. Volunteer Teachers Training Seminar 6. Family outings, Family Celebrations 7. Women in Mid-life Seminar • Priorities: 1. Funding for New Classroom- Antipolo Community 2. Prayer Teams 3. Build and train Community leaders. Transition from friendships to bible study. 4. Scholarship programs. 5. Basic ministry skills training. 6. Local Churches Assets: • IDCProcess Training Seminars of CDM presently being done in several MM churches like: • San Juan Baptist Church • Makati Grace Intl Ministries • NCUC • CCF DGroup • KBCF • Pastors/council leaders focused on living out the Great Commission through the IDCProcess components. • CDM Funding – there is available fund for holding training seminars to these churches • Funding available from the local churches Needs: • Trained lay leaders grouped in triad (for accountability and focus)that live out the Great Commission to work together with the CDM staff involved in Metro Manila towards the realization of the vision/mission statements Priorities: • Present the Metro Manila vision and mission statements to these churches to integrate them to their local vision/missions statements • Pursue training using the IDCProcess to these key churches with 2years as timetable • Setting of network of key leaders of local churches. • Network with community group (caution on “converting” from one religion or church to another). • Invite key leaders from local churches (homegrown) to be part of the MM Council. 1 Cor. 3:16 Don’t you realize that all of you together are God’s temple and the Holy Spirit of God lives in you?
