  1. Intelligence Integration for Training Transformation (I2T2) Working Group 31 March 2010 Mr. Hal Stine USJFCOM J-7

  2. I2T2 Working Group Brief-back Purpose: To better synchronize and integrate a variety of Joint Intelligence Training initiatives, issues and concerns in the context of Training Transformation (T2) and the Joint Training System. The I2T2 Working Group (WG) provides a venue for Joint Intelligence Training (JIT) Program situational awareness and a means to align and deconflict JIT issues for presentation to senior T2 leadership. Discussion: WG objectives focused on the establishment of the I2T2 as an enduring working group of the WJTSC, followed by an overview of the intelligence training landscape that included the Defense Intelligence Training Enterprise (DITE), the Joint Forces Intelligence Training Council (JFITC) and the JIT Program as represented in relationship to the Joint Training System. Outcomes: The WG approved business rules, identified desired membership, and developed a standardized agenda. It was recognized that the Joint Forces Intelligence Training Council (JFITC) and the JIT Joint Management Office (JMO) would be a critical supporting elements to discuss Working Group agenda items between conferences. Integrated Operations Training: Discussions concluded that priorities, requirements and gaps associated with joint intelligence training and integrated operations was an inherent part of the overall WG effort. As the WG evolves, non-Department of Defense participation will be critical to long-term success. Intelligence training requirements for Irregular Warfare were discussed as an example of where this integration is currently taking place. Issues: None. However the WG identified a number of areas where issues needed to be developed for future presentation.

  5. Joint Logistics Education and Training Briefer: Mr. Bizub Issue 09-010:Lack of an oversight structure to support the DOD Joint logistics education and training requirements. Discussion: In the past few years there has been a myriad of initiatives and studies that were consolidated in the Joint Logistics Education, Training, and Exercise Study (JLETES). There is no central authority providing oversight related to Joint Logistics education and training to influence the logistics learning continuum to shape the development of Joint logisticians.  This shortcoming has likely resulted in duplication of efforts, lost opportunities, and reduced support to combatant command Joint logisticians and makes the implementation of the 40+ recommendations made in the JLETES more challenging. Endstate: A validated set of Joint logistics education and training requirements. POA&M: Formally staff the JLETES with the Joint logistics community stakeholders and provide the results to theCenter for Joint and Strategic Logistics (CJSL) for assessment.
