  3. Concept of self-development and communication ‘The totality of the qualities of a person is the combination of a person’s physical ,intellectual, materialistic and spiritual qualities. Consequently, Self-development refers to the development of all the above mentioned qualities of an individual.’

Definition:- ‘An attitude is a tendency to respond either positively or negatively to certain persons, objects or situations. Here the term persuasion means, ‘The process of forming,reinforcing or changing attitude by communication.’ • Types of Persuasion:- • Superficial • Systematic Steps involved in systematic processing of persuasive communication:- • Attending to the message • Comprehending the message • Reacting to message content • Accepting the message
