Today’s announcements include important details for the final class of Gateway to Space. Please make sure to turn in all required materials, including surveys, team evaluations, and community service forms. We appreciate teams 6, 9, and 10 for their presentations. Grades have been posted. Don’t forget about the upcoming Space Grant Open House on January 14, 2010. The final exam will take place on December 15, 2010. Remember to bring refreshments and note that participation in the oral exam is optional and can earn you extra credit.

Class Survey: - Turn in next class - Will be sealed in an envelope until next semester - Need a volunteer to be the keeper of the surveys until next semester
Team Evaluations: - Just like Mid-Semester Evaluations - Make sure you math adds up - Make sure your name is on the form - Must be turned in at last class 12-09-10
Re-Fly Forms (RFF): - Due by next class - May be taken as independent study at Space Grant next semester - Launch is April 2, 2011 - Must be turned in at last class 12-09-10

My thoughts on this Class: - Many of you were overwhelmed - Many of you persevered - Very hard class with long hours but over time you will only remember what you accomplished - You don’t see what I see – first day to last day, first and final presentations, etc

Final Exam Review: - The Gateway To Space Final Exam will be held in the Discovery Learning Center room 1B70 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM on December 15, 2010. - Plan on being there for the whole time. - Bring something to drink - You do not need to attend if you are happy with your grade
Final Exam is in 3 parts: Part 1&2 were cancelled Part 3 = Oral exam with 140 questions Part 3 is entirely extra credit and many of the questions do not deal with the class
