Einstein's Dreams Translation through Poetry
Fading Fast. Light is dimming. Just need to catch up. Darkness. Thoughts running through. Dreaming now. Faded fast. Catching up. When will light be in my future?
May 8, 1905 One day to go… Everyone with the same fate. A world finally of equality. One hour left… A white man grabs the hand of another race. Past issues have no significance. They are thrown away. Forgotten. One minute and counting… A mother finally shows affection to her child. The last and only I Love You has been said. One second… A breath is taken.
May 14, 1905 Stillness. The silence will not be broken. Frozen like ice. There is no feeling of fear, No pain or suffering. No expressions of happiness. Nor the touch of a loved ones skin. Time is no more. Life is no more. Stillness.
May 29, 1905 The yearning to always be young, find that special someone, live the American Dream. Obsession without a vision of reality. Don’t let time pass by. To be in that perfect place at that perfect time. Don’t let opportunities be missed. Obsession with time.
Startled out of that deep place. Light is now reality. Time passed quickly. Dreams of accomplishment. Another day begins. Awake. Soon to be successful. Time to make dreams come true.
