  1. English Project A Survey On Students' Reading Habits

  2. Question 6. How many English books do you read per week?

  3. Question 7. How much time do you spend on reading English books per day?

  4. Conclusions 5 out of 10 students (50%) spend half an hour reading English books per day. 2 out of 10 students (20%) spend 1 hour reading English books. The rest of the students do not read at all. Suggestions To encourage students to spend more time reading English books, the English teachers can organize a reading competition. Students who spend most time reading English books win the competition.

  5. Question 8. How many pages do you read per ½ hour?

No one can read more than 20 pages. Suggestions The speed is fine. Keep it up. English teachers can still encourage the students to read more English books so that they can read even faster.

  8. Our Feelings Mandy: I think doing this survey is challenging work. Before we did this survey, we were all very shy and did not dare to speak English in front of the classmates and our friends. However, after finishing this survey, we are all proud of ourselves. Now, we don’t feel nervous anymore when we’re speaking English in front of other people. I hope I can do more surveys to practise my oral skill. Aman: After doing this project, I ‘ve learnt a lot of things. I ‘ve learnt how to manage my time. I’ve also learnt how to cooperate with my friends. I found interviewing my schoolmates a bit difficult at first. I had to explain the interview questions to them again and again. While I was asking the questions, I felt nervous. I was afraid that I asked a wrong question, but anyway, it was really a good experience.

  9. Kelly: I felt excited while I was interviewing the Form 3 students whom I did not know. I found that they were very nice. Moreover, I had interesting experiences. For example, I asked the interviewee if she minded answering some questions. She said, “Sure.” So we needed to start again. Debby: After doing this project, I learnt a lot. When I did my first interview, I kept on laughing. After practice, I could ask questions without laughing. This project helped me a lot. Sam: When I first interview the Form3 students, I panicked, because I never interviewed strangers before. I was nervous and I hoped that I did not make pronunciation mistakes because it would be very embarrassing. It was challenging to do this project, and it was a good practice. Anyway, we have already tried our best.
